Symposium Sites
The Symposium takes place in extraordinary historic sites. The Plenary sessions on Friday morning May 16th and Sunday morning May 18th will be held at Palazzo Vecchio (entrance Via dei Gondi), in its most famous room, Salone dei Cinquecento. Friday afternoon and Saturday sessions, will be held in Villa la Pietra (Via Bolognese, 120), one of the most famous villas in the hills of Florence, a few minutes from the historical center. Participants will be led into the villa by a magnificient long cypress avenue that boasts one of the loveliest gardens in Italy.

During the symposium in Villa La Pietra, the DVD “Dead or Alive” by Jane Mc Adam Freud will be shown continuosly.


Special bus transfers for the Symposium participants
The transfer will be only for those who booked and paied it in advance, for two round trips between the center of Florence and Villa La Pietra, May 16-17.


Bus meeting point:
May 16 at 2:00pm from Palazzo Borghese, Via Ghibellina 110 to Villa La Pietra and at 5:30pm from Villa La Pietra to Bargello National Museum.
May 17 at 8:30am meeting point Santa Trinita Square (in front of Ferragamo) to Villa La Pietra and at 5:00pm from Villa La Pietra to Santa Trinita Square.
The Secretariat will leave a bus vouchers with the symposium kit at the Secretariat Desk.
People interested but not booked could ask to the Secretariat: places on the busses will depend on availability.
It is also possible to get to Villa La Pietra by taxi in 20 minutes or by public bus (n°25) from the Railway Station S. M. Novella, Duomo or San Marco bus stop.
